BritGrocery rules!

So while poking around the web at work today, I found this awesome new site to grab all that fab British food we're not 1337 enough to get in the States. It's called BritGrocery and it's just about the awesomest food-related thing you'll see all week.

Cadbury? They got it.
Hob Nobs? Oh yeah.
Frozen sausage roll goodness? Boom. Done.

Check 'em out and scoop up some of that righteous too-cool-for-American grub. Cadbury Roses FTW!

Who is Johnny?

Take a look at this guy over here who obviously wants to hump Johnny 5 from Short Circuit given by how far he has taken his mania with him...

Cripes! I can only imagine this guy writing tawdry Johnny 5-Stephanie fanfics in his free time...

The night HE got boned!

Just a word to the wise for all you fellas out there...if you're dating a girl you're not too serious about, don't ever lend her your Halloween: Restored Limited Edition DVD. Seeing it on Amazon with a starting price of $71 when I bought it for $20 just breaks my geeky little heart.

I hope Michael gets that snobby little tart. I sure as hell don't want her.

Breakdancing isn't dead. It's been in a coma.

So I'm sitting here watching Kickin' It Old Skool (which is holding steady with an impressive 3% at Rotten Tomatoes) and I decided to take a look at what the critics thought of it. Among a veritable sea of thumbs-down reviews, this overly dissected write-up from Screen It! has to be the best. My favorite part?

"For those prone to visually induced motion sickness, there are varying amounts of camera movement in the film."

Moving cameras! Oh noes! Avert thy eyes!!!1

Wild about Harry? Have his hat!

This is another shameless plug, but if you know any American history collectors, I'm auctioning off a vintage hat owned by former president Harry S. Truman. It even has "H.S. Truman" printed in gold on the sweatband. Click on a picture to check it out!

So much to say, but no words to convey

Motion City Soundtrack's new single "Broken Heart" is rather rockin', but the video is more than a little bit...um...strange. Lemme know what you think.

It hurts, it destroys 'til it kills

Round 'bout this time last year, I did a little rundown of cool summer tunes. I'd be remiss if I didn't follow up with an '07 edition, wouldn't I?

Motion City Soundtrack - "L.G. FUAD": Got turned onto these guys by a friend upon proclaiming my love of Hellogoodbye and Weezer. These guys have got the same intelligent, geeky synth rock that makes me all happy-happy.

Regina Spektor - "Fidelity": Originally thought this was a Dido song, but this chick is just as cute and talented. Currently have this on my "sexytime" iPod playlist for some reason.

Amy Winehouse - "Rehab"
: Kinda played out now, but I challenge you to go a week this summer without having that damn chorus pop into your head.

Jonathan Coulton - "Code Monkey"
: From the mind behind "Re: Your Brains" comes this sweet, catchy ditty with an awesome 80's pop feel. Reminds me of "Turning Japanese" by The Vapors.

Linkin Park - "What I've Done": As heard at the end of Transformers. Linkin Park is pretty hit and miss, but this song's surprisingly quite well done. Go figure.

(Not so) sunken chest

Remember how I was bitching before about that hottie Christa on Pirate Master always having her breasticles blurred out? Well, through the miracle of MySpace, I went straight to the source for comment.

Hi. Hopefully I won't get blurred again! I am not even sure if there was anything that "needed" to be blurred. Anyway, I loved doing the show and it was the best experience ever. Thank you so much for watching.

Yes, I hope so too. Editing out lovely lady lumps makes baby Jesus cry.
